Project OverviewWe are looking for a BMC Helix Technical Specialist with strong expertise in ITSM BMC Remedy Helix development and integrations. The role will be responsible for development, customization, administration, and extension of the BMC Helix platform to support evolving business requirements. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ITSM modules, Innovation Studio, and integration with other systems via APIs.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and develop BMC Helix ITSM modules (Incident, Change, Problem, SRM, Work Order, SLM, Release).Customize and extend Helix Innovation Studio, Smart IT, and Helix Dashboards to meet business requirements.Design, implement, and maintain Remedy workflows using Active Links, Filters, Escalations, and Remedy forms.Configure and support CMDB, Asset Management, and Foundation Data modules.Develop integrations using Web Services / REST APIs with external systems.Troubleshoot application logs (SQL, API, Filters, Active Links) and resolve technical issues.Perform preventive maintenance, performance tuning, data archiving, and issue resolution.Create and configure complex SRDs and Approval flows.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver ITIL-compliant solutions.Provide sustained support and incident management as per defined SLAs.Maintain proper documentation of solutions and configurations.Skills to EvaluatePrimary:ITSM BMC Remedy Helix DevelopmentInnovation Studio and DWPASmart IT and Helix DashboardCMDB and Asset ManagementWeb Services & REST API IntegrationFoundation Data & Approval FlowsSecondary (Good to Have):SQL and database tuningDWPC Advanced, DWPC connectorsDiscovery and Automation configurationLDAP integrationITSM Reports and Dashboards
Required Experience6 8 years in development and administration of BMC Remedy Helix suite.Strong knowledge of ITIL processes with hands-on in at least 5 key ITSM modules.Minimum 2 years' experience with Helix Innovation Studio and Smart IT.Experience working with APIs and external system integrations.Prior exposure to Helix Discovery, CMDB integration, and performance tuning.
