The Reinsurance Business Analyst Lead should understand the client's business vision and strategy and how they affect technological requirements. They need to understand the key challenges that business sponsor and key stakeholders are facing and work with Product Architect/Technical Architect to explore and define the to-be solution.Responsibilities

Act as clients trusted advisor
Will engage in Blueprint sessions and responsible for providing solution to the client through the lifecycle of project
Work with other team members like Product/Technical Architect/Integration team to define and document high level solution approach
Review of User Story
Mentor Business Analysts
Perform other activities like assisting Project Manager with Prioritization/Planning

Education and Work Experience

Bachelor's degree required, or higher education level, or foreign equivalent, preferably in area of business administration, business analytics management information systems or related field.
Minimum of 10+ years' professional experience, preferably in a similar role
Professional certificate on business/enterprise architect would be an added advantage

Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

Though leadership in Insurance/Reinsurance industry. Experience in implementation of large-scale insurance transformation projects and/or ran complex reinsurance operations
Ability to bring from their experience, industry best practises and guide clients through complex challenges and help in their decision making and recommend the best way to implement the system
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Experience in conducting blueprint session, identifying gaps, estimating, implementation, test planning and UAT definition
Experience/Knowledge of software development lifecycle for P&C insurance software
Minimum of 6+ years of progressive, relevant consulting experience in Reinsurance

Ceded/Assumed - Treaty/Facultative Business
Reinsurance Technical and Financial Accounting
Reinsurance Reporting/Analytics
Proficiency in Project Management Tools: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint.
Basic SQL and Database Knowledge: Skills in SQL or other database query languages to manipulate and retrieve data.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
