- Define and drive the engineering vision for International eCommerce platforms, including Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), order management, integrations, and fulfilment systems.
- Lead the evolution from traditional monolithic SFCC implementations to a MACH-based, AI-enabled composable architecture (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless).
- Architect and operationalize next-generation digital commerce platforms leveraging:
- Cloud-native services.
- Event-driven systems (Kafka, streaming).
- Intelligent automation across the commerce funnel.
- Lead engineering for high-traffic, multi-country, multi-language international websites, ensuring performance, scalability, localization, and compliance.
- Drive the integration of SFCC with decomposable services (payments, OMS, inventory, promotions, loyalty, CDP, CMS).
- Modernize legacy integrations into API-first, loosely coupled services, enabling faster feature rollout and market expansion.
- Champion DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, and MLOps practices to accelerate deployment cycles and reduce release risk.
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture, PMO, Product, and Business teams to implement future-ready digital commerce solutions aligned to global growth strategy.
- Build and scale high-performing engineering teams across regions, fostering an AI-first, automation-driven engineering culture.
- Establish measurable SLAs, SLOs, and operational excellence practices across platform reliability, performance, and security.
- 13+ years of experience in enterprise technology, with significant experience in eCommerce and digital commerce platforms.
- Proven leadership experience managing multi-regional engineering teams.
- Deep experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) in high-scale environments.
- Strong understanding of Composable Commerce / MACH principles.
- Experience designing API-first, event-driven architectures.
- Experience externalizing high-volume APIs and integrating with OMS, payments, and inventory systems.
- Background in retail, global commerce, or high-growth digital businesses.
- Experience leading modernization programs from legacy platforms to cloud-native architecture.
- Strong communication skills and executive presence.
- Experience embedding AI/ML capabilities into commerce experiences, including personalization, recommendations, dynamic pricing, or intelligent merchandising.
- Familiarity with Generative AI use cases in commerce (content automation, search enhancement, chat-based support, campaign optimization).
- Experience implementing AI-assisted engineering workflows (code generation, automated testing, observability intelligence).
- Experience enabling AI-driven experimentation (A/B testing at scale, dynamic content).
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
