Assistant Professor-Pedagogy of Economics

• Teach courses in the field of economics and pedagogy at the undergraduate and graduate levels
• Mentor and advise students on academic and career matters
• Engage in ongoing scholarly research and publish findings in academic journals
• Participate in departmental, college and community activities
• Contribute to curriculum development and program review
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote interdisciplinary approaches to teaching and learning

• A Ph.D. in Economics, Pedagogy or a related field is required
• A minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience at the university level
• A record of scholarly research and publications in academic journals
• Strong commitment to student-centered teaching and learning
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team

• Candidates with a background in economics, education or a related field are eligible for this position
• Experience in teaching economics, pedagogy or teacher training is preferred
