An HR Assistant for a steel fabricator supports daily HR operations, focusing on industrial recruitment, employee records, and payroll. Key duties include scheduling interviews for skilled trades (welders, fabricators), handling onboarding/safety induction, and ensuring compliance with labor laws, PF, and ESIC. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and clerical skills.Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Staffing: Source, screen, and schedule interviews for welders, machine operators, and fitters.
Onboarding & Induction: Manage joining formalities, including safety inductions and document verification.
Record Maintenance: Maintain employee databases, attendance registers, and personal files.
Payroll & Benefits: Assist with payroll processing, tracking attendance, leaves, and managing PF/ESIC for factory workers.
Industrial Relations: Handle worker grievances and maintain a safe, compliant work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 1–3 years of experience, ideally in a manufacturing or construction environment.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HR software, excellent verbal/written communication, and attention to detail.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Knowledge: Understanding of labor regulations,, safety standards, and contractor management.
