Business Correspondents are distribution points appointed by the Bank to ensure the delivery of last mile banking services to millions of customers in a territory beyond the Bank's branch presence. The job will involve creation, scaling and monitoring of a new business channel through Business Correspondents. Just like a start up, you would be expected to synthesize the elements of product, channel partnership, business agreements, regulations and compliance, monitoring and scale up of business volumes and build this alternative channel, mostly in rural India. It will require intense internal and external coordination as well as travel, and continuous creativity in bringing solutions. Specifically, the job role will require you to Mobilize business for Current / Savings Accounts/ Assetsand other banking products. Drive acquisition numbers and valuetargets along with sales officers for Liabilities, Assets, TD and Third party products. Have a regular connect with the channel team members, CSC District manager/CSC State team, BM and drive overall acquisition and x-sell targets. Organize various lead generation activities / camps to attract customers. Coordinating with internal asset and liability product teams for products and fulfillment. Extensive travel to supervise and train the network sales team members on latest products, incentives and ongoing sales campaigns. Liaise with various BC partners and stakeholders for driving performance. Ensure that the quality a/c sourced is not compromised with equal focus on value building in the assigned portfolio. Ensure customer services and quality standards are met at all times. Accompany team members on sales call wherever necessary. Recruitment and Training of sales officers. Visits to the BC Customer service points point for regular business drive, training requirements, support, feedback and compliance. Job Requirement Minimum work experience 4-6 years in sales role. Prior experience of handling teams & or distributors/dealer networks/ Telecom /FMCG distribution will be preferred. Should have knowledge of CASA, Trinity, NR & TPP (insurance) MBA/Graduate in any stream Excellent written and oral communication skills Should have knowledge of basic computers (Excel / Word/ email) Process orientation is a must Should be adaptable and willing to travel extensively.
