DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer to join our engineering team in Bangalore. In this role, you will work on designing, configuring, and implementing PolicyCenter solutions to meet client needs. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to ensure high-quality delivery, leveraging your expertise in Java and Guidewire development.Requirements

5–10 years of total IT experience, with 3+ years of hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration.
Strong proficiency in Java and Gosu programming.
Experience in PolicyCenter configuration areas such as entities, typelists, PCFs, rules, and data model changes.
Familiarity with Guidewire Studio and Guidewire Data Model.
Understanding of web services (SOAP/REST) for integrations with external systems.
Knowledge of insurance domain concepts, particularly P&C insurance, is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job responsibilities

Configure and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter modules to align with business requirements.
Develop and maintain Gosu scripts and Java-based integrations for PolicyCenter.
Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, and impact assessment for new functionalities.
Work closely with the architectural team to ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and performance benchmarks.
Troubleshoot issues, debug configurations, and provide production support when required.
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure quality deliverables through unit testing and defect resolution.
Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to other team members.
