KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design, architect, and optimize Teradata EDW solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Lead performance tuning efforts using TASM and other workload management tools.
  • Design and implement data pipelines using AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, and SageMaker.
  • Manage Teradata AI Unlimited (Teradata On-Demand) deployments in AWS, ensuring secure and efficient cloud infrastructure.
  • Integrate and optimize SAS workflows with EDW and other data sources.
  • Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards for business insights and reporting.
  • Create and optimize data workflows using Python and PySpark..
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and mentor, offering technical guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Drive application design and optimization in AWS, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture.
  • Lead high-impact initiatives with accountability for quality, timelines, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Communicate effectively across geographies and functions to build trust and alignment.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS):
  • 3+ years of experience in data design-Must and engineering, with a strong focus on Teradata EDW.-good
  • Proven expertise in Teradata performance tuning, TASM, and workload management.-good
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services: S3, Glue, Lambda, CloudFormation, and SageMaker.
  • Strong understanding of Teradata On-Demand in AWS environments.-good
  • Experience with SAS scripting and integration with EDW systems.-Must
  • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and data pipeline development.-good
  • Knowledge of Tableau for data visualization and reporting.-Must
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring and team collaboration.
WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS):
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and cloud-based analytics solutions.
  • Teradata: Strong expertise in EDW design, performance tuning, and workload management (TASM).
  • AWS: Practical experience with S3, Glue, Lambda, and cloud infrastructure management.
  • Python: Proficient in scripting, automation, and data processing.
  • ETL: Deep understanding of ETL concepts, tools, and pipeline orchestration.
  • SQL: Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and optimization.
  • Data Warehousing: Solid foundation in DWH concepts, architecture, and implementation.
  • SAS: Experience in scripting and integrating SAS applications with EDW systems.
  • Tableau: Skilled in building interactive dashboards and delivering business insights.
