Job Description – QA ExecutivePosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications/products through manual and automation testing. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, define test strategies, and deliver high-quality software solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and UI testing across web and mobile applications.Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage.Validate that business requirements are met and products meet quality standards before release.Work on automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium, Katalon, JUnit, TestNG) to reduce manual effort.Ensure compliance with QA processes, best practices, and industry standards.Participate in reviews of requirements, design, and test documentation.Provide clear QA reports and testing metrics to stakeholders.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.1–3 years of experience in QA (Manual & Automation Testing).Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Katalon, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).Experience with bug tracking and project management tools (JIRA, Trello, or similar).Knowledge of databases and ability to write basic SQL queries for validation.Familiarity with API testing (Postman, REST Assured) is an advantage.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.Good communication and documentation skills.Nice to HaveExperience in Agile/Scrum methodology.Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
