- Design and development of BIW, closures, underbody, and upper body components.
- Preparation of master sections considering design surfaces, interfaces, and manufacturing requirements.
- Engineering of Class A and allied panels, ensuring compliance with sheet metal manufacturing standards.
- Integration of CAE results, stamping simulations, and assembly feedback into designs.
- Concept generation for issue resolution and parametric design in CATIA V5.
- Proficiency in assembly design, surface modeling, sheet metal design, and part detailing.
- Knowledge of GD&T, datum definition, and stack-up analysis.
- Expertise in DMU tools, PLM software, DFMEA, DFA/DFM, risk analysis, and product quality reviews.
- Validation tracking and DVPR sign-offs at component, system, and vehicle levels.
- Development of vehicle/system-level packaging concepts and layouts in collaboration with cross-functional teams (CFT).
