- Lead, mentor, and manage the placement team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective career development services.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment to enhance the team's performance and impact.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with a wide network of employers, industry professionals, and alumni to expand internship and job opportunities for students.
- Collaborate with industry partners to develop internship programs, workshops, and industry-relevant curriculum.
- Provide career counseling and guidance to students, assisting them in identifying and achieving their career goals.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance students' employability skills, including resume writing, interview preparation, and networking.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute placement events such as job fairs, campus interviews, and recruitment drives.
- Work with the marketing team to promote placement activities and enhance the visibility of the university among potential employers.
- Utilize data analytics to track placement success rates, alumni achievements, and industry trends.
- Generate regular reports for university leadership, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with academic departments to align curriculum with industry requirements, ensuring students are equipped with relevant skills for the job market.
- Facilitate industry experts' involvement in curriculum development and guest lectures.
- Master's degree in business administration, human resources, career counseling, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in career services, placement, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
- Strong understanding of industry trends, employment markets, and employer expectations.
- Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with career services software and technologies.
