The IT Head will lead the hospital's overall technology strategy, digital transformation, and end‑to‑end IT operations to ensure seamless clinical, administrative, and patient‑experience workflows. The role is accountable for HIS optimization, 24x7 infrastructure uptime, cybersecurity, data governance, and delivering tech projects that improve efficiency and digital adoption across the hospital.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the hospital's technology vision, IT strategy, and digital transformation initiatives to enhance clinical, operational, and patient‑experience outcomes.
  • Oversee HIS/EMR and other hospital systems, ensuring seamless integration across functions and high user adoption.
  • Ensure 24x7 infrastructure uptime across servers, networks, data center, cloud, and communication systems, including upgrades and disaster‑recovery readiness.
  • Strengthen cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance through audits, risk assessments, and robust security frameworks.
  • Drive innovation and automation, introducing new technologies such as AI/ML, IoT, telemedicine, and digital patient‑journey solutions.
  • Manage IT operations, service delivery, vendor SLAs, IT budgeting, and cross‑functional collaboration with clinical and administrative teams.

  • Brings 14-20 years of IT experience, with 5-7 years in a leadership role within a hospital, healthcare group, or large enterprise.
  • Strong expertise in HIS/EMR/LIS/PACS systems and integrating them across hospital functions.
  • Deep hands‑on knowledge of IT infrastructure, including data centers, networks, cloud platforms, server management, and 24x7 uptime environments.
  • Proven capability in cybersecurity, data privacy, audits, and compliance (NABH/HIPAA).
  • Demonstrated experience in digital transformation, automation, and adopting modern technologies (AI/ML, IoT, telemedicine, CRM, patient portals).
  • Skilled in project management, vendor management, budgeting, and delivering complex tech initiatives on time.
  • Strong stakeholder management, able to work closely with CXOs, clinical teams, and operations.
  • Analytical, detail‑oriented, and comfortable with data analytics, dashboards, and decision‑support systems.
  • Effective people leader with strong communication, team management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
