Our content team in India includes content creators who make thousands of awesome videos, articles, and practice questions aligned with the Indian curriculum to help both teachers and students. We are actively working on content localization in other regional languages as well, which means the content we co-create reaches a wider number (both nationally and globally), thereby quintupling the impact.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for a strategic, subject-matter expert to join our team as a Science Manager. This role is critical in leading the development and quality assurance of our science curriculum. You will oversee the end-to-end production of science content, ensuring it is pedagogically sound, engaging, and aligned with national and state standards. You will manage a high-performing team of contributors to deliver world-class science education to millions of learners in India.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Curriculum Leadership: Define the pedagogical approach and content strategy for Science (Grades 6-12), ensuring alignment with curriculum standards.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of content creators and reviewers to hit production milestones while maintaining high quality.
- Quality Excellence: Establish and manage rigorous quality review processes for science videos, articles, and exercises.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze student learning data and mastery patterns to identify content gaps and areas for improvement in the science domain.
- Systems & Scalability: Build and optimize documentation and workflows to make the science content development process more efficient and scalable.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the implementation team to gather feedback from teachers and students to refine content impact.
- Subject Expertise: Deep knowledge of secondary school Science in one or more of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology up to Grade 12.
- Experience: 6-8 years of experience in science education, curriculum development, with at least 2-3 years of ed-tech content management.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead teams of various sizes and compositions.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to turn complex data into actionable content strategies.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to lead a remote-first team.
