Role SummaryThis is a senior technical mission within Airbus SAS, acting as a Technical Leader for the EU-based product team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical leadership and management of one key application: iObeya (a visual management tool for KPI tracking). If some urgency is required, support of iKanban could be requested.The role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, project leadership, and strong communication skills. You will be expected to lead projects, and ensure that the technology solutions for iObeya align with the strategic goals of Airbus. The position operates within an Agile environment, specifically using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).2. Key Responsibilities & Outputs● Application Lifecycle Management: Implement and manage IM services for the iObeya application.● User Support: handling user requests via Service Now + Chat room request + Features (given by ITPM), incidents, and queries to ensure smooth operation.● Technical Leadership & Guidance: ○ Provide technical input and guidance to the Product Manager (PM) and Product Owner (PO).○ Proactively identify and provide solutions for ongoing technical issues.○ Collaborate with architects to ensure solutions align with Airbus standards.● Agile & Development Process: ○ Ensure the principles and practices of Agile/SAFe are correctly applied.○ Perform technical validation of User Stories, providing constructive feedback.○ Contribute to the design of new features and define their technical acceptance criteria.● Collaboration: Work closely with other IM stakeholders, including architects, supplier-based System and ITOPS teams, and other internal product teams.3. Qualification & Experience● Experience: A professional with a technical background and more than 6 years of experience in a similar field.4. Required SkillsMust-Have Skills● Operating Systems: Hands-on experience in configuring and managing Linux Environments.● Cloud & Architecture: ○ Strong understanding of product architecture and backend product installation.○ Hands-on experience with cloud environments, specifically AWS.● Databases: ○ Proficiency with databases such as MySQL or MariaDB.○ Solid understanding of data modeling and querying.● DevOps & Automation: ○ Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.○ Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins)○ Code checking (SonarQube)● Security: ○ Basic knowledge of DevSecOps pipelines and associated tools (e.g., Checkmarx).● Dev/Scripting: ○ Good knowledge of PHP and Node.js○ Basic knowledge of Python (sufficient for running scripts and basic troubleshooting).● Technical Execution: ○ Ability to perform a complete product installation from scratch using provided documentation.● Soft Skills: ○ Communication: ■ Excellent ability to explain complex technical concepts simply to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.■ French is mandatory for the EU location.■ Business English is necessary for India and EU Location○ Decision Making: Proven ability to make clear, well-rationalized decisions under pressure.○ Business Acumen: A strong understanding of business needs and the ability to align technical solutions with strategic goals.
