- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives, conducting thorough analysis of existing systems and applications to identify opportunities for improvement, providing technical leadership and guidance to teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop end-to-end solutions that align with business goals and adhere to architectural best practices. Design system architectures, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security and integration while collaborating with developers, functional consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the proposed solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of solution architectures, including specifications, and guidelines, evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends. Identify potential technical challenges and risks associated with proposed solutions. Develop mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment of solutions with organizational goals.
- Define and enforce design standards and best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. Conduct architecture reviews to identify and address issues early in the implementation process, providing leadership and guidance to the IT planning team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- 5-9 years of total experience.
- The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)—experience with any module is acceptable—as well as expertise in master data management, key figure calculations, and system interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with the Planning module in SAP ECC, particularly using Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), is essential.
- The candidate should have strong knowledge of related master data, SAP tables, and configuration settings for both make-to-stock and make-to-order scenarios.
- Experience in implementing and supporting custom enhancements is also required.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, architectural styles, and design patterns with strong expertise in system architecture, and enterprise integration.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in working as part of agile teams and using tools like solution manager, ServiceNow, HP ALM etc.,
- Experience in Implementation of Demand Planning, S&OP, Supply Planning & Distribution planning using SAP IBP.
- Familiarity or exposure to SAP IBP - Response & Supply, production planning/scheduling, GATP will be added advantage.
- Experience of SAP ECC master & transaction data needed for Planning.
