- Continuously track industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Provide strategic inputs to refine sales approaches and unlock new market opportunities.
- Build strategic partnerships with procurement platforms, consultants, and licensors to enhance market reach.
- Prepare and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans aligned with business objectives.
- Build and implement the annual selling strategy in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Review and manage the sales funnel across domestic zones to guide pricing and closure strategies.
- Track and improve opportunity-to-order conversion rates.
- Ensure achievement of sales turnover, order inflow, and product-wise revenue targets as per the business plan.
- Monitor on-time delivery schedules to support production planning and customer commitments.
- Plan and manage key accounts to build profitable long-term relationships.
- Strengthen relationships with existing customers and acquire new customers to increase market penetration.
- Ensure premium customer experience by evaluating feedback, resolving complaints, and providing timely solutions.
- Engage in customer-centric initiatives such as exhibitions, seminars, and campaigns to reinforce the brand image.
- Set, review, and monitor KPIs and performance targets for the sales and BD teams.
- Conduct weekly reviews with teams to optimize product mix, revenue generation, and pipeline health.
- Foster a performance-driven culture, rewarding high performers and ensuring a robust succession pipeline in collaboration with HR.
- Provide technical sales training and support continuous skill development across the function.
- Leverage synergies across departments (marketing, production, technical) to maximize sales effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to Business Excellence processes through regular training, audits, and corrective actions.
- Manage the domestic sales budget, ensuring strong ROI on activities.
- Monitor customer outstanding payments and credit exposure to maintain financial discipline.
- Drive growth of more profitable products by promoting the right product mix in the market.
- Coordinate for compliance, certifications, and participation in public sector opportunities.
- Deploy CRM systems, dashboards, and real-time reporting tools to improve efficiency and visibility.
- Use technology to automate sales processes and enhance team productivity.
- Keep the market updated about new products and technologies, ensuring long-term adoption.
