Develop and Maintain Power BI Reports and Dashboards:
Create visually compelling and interactive dashboards and reports based on business requirements, ensuring accuracy and consistency. * Data Modeling and DAX:Design and implement efficient data models, utilizing DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for calculations and measures. * Data Transformation and ETL:Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, etc.) using Power Query, ensuring data quality and integrity. * Performance Optimization:Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability, ensuring quick report loading and efficient data processing. * Security and Access Control:Implement row-level security (RLS) and other security measures to protect sensitive data. * Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and communicate findings effectively. * Technical Documentation:Maintain technical documentation related to Power BI reports and workflows. * Continuous Learning:Stay updated with the latest Power BI and Microsoft analytics features and best practices. * Integration with Other Tools:Potentially integrate Power BI with other tools like Azure, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Python-based scripts when needed. * SQL and Data Warehouse Expertise:Strong expertise in back-end database development (i.e., Microsoft SQL) and experience with data warehousing concepts.
