  • Expertise across Concept, Schematic, Detailed and IFC design, including system architecture and integration.
  • Strong working knowledge of TIA-942, NFPA,NBC and International Standards, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with Client and other Consultants to deliver the robust, scalable and highly available designs aligned with operational, redundancy and resilience requirements.
  • Must be able to handle ELV system design such as ICT LAN/WAN, Security - CCTV, ACS, CPMS, AV, Home Automation and BMS related system integration.
  • Thorough Knowledge of Preparation of System Network Strategy.
  • Thorough Knowledge of Communication protocols & interface with various systems.
  • Must have knowledge on 3D modelling.
  • Responsible for coordination with Architect and MEP team.
  • Co-ordinate with Engineers/ Vendor for technical discussion and getting final approval.
  • Capability to quickly understand the project and preparing queries in coordination with the Line manager.
  • For details which are not available in tender, the candidate should be capable of providing the design anticipating the necessary requirements as per standard norms, codes and best engineering practices.
  • Preparation of Service Inputs w.r.to ELV /ICT systems which may include but not limited to ELV/ICT Room Space Planning, electrical load and HVAC heat dissipation details.
  • Capability in extraction of details from the BIM Models if provided by client.
  • Preparation of project technical reports and project brief.
  • Preparation of simulation reports using software like EASE Address, EASE Focus, JVSG,IB Wave, EKAHAU and other such simulation tools.
  • Preparation of tender BOQ /estimate, IO Summary, indices etc…
  • Preparation of Value Engineering options.
  • Preparation of schematic drawings in AutoCAD.
  • Candidate should be able to coordinate with other disciplines and facilitate seamless input sharing.
  • Candidate to update the line manager in all the steps of project mentioned above and appraising him/her on any support required or clarifications required.
Qualifications
  • BE Electrical with 6+ years of professional experience, out of which a minimum of 3 years should be in Middle East projects as an added advantage.
  • Proven ability to carry out both manual and computer aided calculations, problem solving, technical and financial analyses, etc.
  • Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and electrical engineering specific software.
  • Strong software capability and proficiency in AutoCAD. REVIT and Navisworks,
  • Excellent knowledge of local and international design standards, TRA, BICSI, ANSI, TIA etc
  • Excellent knowledge of local statutory authorities' regulations and submission requirements across Middle East, mainly, UAE and KSA
  • Advanced knowledge of ELV Engineering Principles, BMS, IT, AV and Security design
  • Sustainable design practices and technologies
  • Basic understand of HVAC and public health principles
