PSO come driver for director preferable X army with driving licence.The PSO cum Driver to Director job description combines the responsibilities of a professional driver with those of a personal security officer (PSO) to ensure the safety, security, and efficient transport of the company Director. This role demands high levels of vigilance, professionalism, and confidentiality.Position SummaryThe Driver-cum-PSO is a dedicated professional responsible for safely driving the assigned Director and providing continuous personal security support during travel and at various locations. The individual must adhere strictly to security protocols, maintain situational awareness, and ensure the assigned vehicle is always in excellent condition. This role often prefers candidates who are ex-Army or defense personnel due to their specialized training.Key ResponsibilitiesDriving and Logistics Duties
  • Safe Transportation: Drive the Director to and from the office, meetings, official appointments, and personal engagements using the most efficient and safe routes.
  • Vehicle Management: Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and fueled at all times, conducting routine checks and coordinating timely servicing.
  • Route Planning: Plan routes in advance to optimize travel time, avoid potential traffic delays, and incorporate security considerations.
  • Logistics Assistance: Assist the Director or family members with loading and unloading possessions or other items as required.
Personal Security Officer (PSO) Duties
  • Personal Security Support: Provide close personal protection and security support during travel and at designated locations.
  • Vigilance and Risk Assessment: Maintain constant vigilance and proactively assess potential security risks or threats, reporting any incidents or irregularities immediately.
  • Protocol Adherence: Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for safety and security, which may include coordinating with local authorities or other security teams.
  • Emergency Response: Be prepared to implement pre-planned evacuation protocols and act decisively in case of an emergency to shield and ensure the safe exit of the principal.
  • Confidentiality: Ensure the Director's identity, conversations, and schedules remain strictly confidential.
  • Escort and Assistance: Escort and assist the assigned person as needed, ensuring a secure perimeter is maintained during public appearances or interactions.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience: Proven experience as a personal driver and/or PSO, often with preference for ex-Army or defense personnel.
  • Driving Skills: Excellent driving skills, potentially including defensive driving techniques.
  • Security Training: Training in personal protection, risk assessment, communication equipment usage, and potentially unarmed combat or first-aid.
  • Attributes: High levels of discipline, alertness, professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
  • Licenses/Permits: A valid driver's license is required, and a valid license for a personal firearm (pistol) may be a requirement for armed roles.
