The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor others in data strategy principles, and play a key role in the development of enterprise data models and metadata management.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the establishment and maintenance of information architecture best practices, standards, and guidelines aligned with the organization's data strategyDrive data modeling initiatives and contribute to the design and development of the overall data architectureDevelop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models while ensuring they align with industry standards and best practicesCapture and maintain metadata within the enterprise data catalog solution to ensure accurate documentationEvaluate and review proposed data models contained in purchased or commercially available applicationsGuide and educate stakeholders on data strategy directives, principles, and standards to foster a strong data cultureEnsure compliance with security and regulatory policies within the scope of enterprise information architectureCollaborate with business partners, IT teams, and contractors to design effective data models that meet evolving requirementsParticipate in and drive adherence to best practices through design reviews at different stages of the development lifecycleRequirementsA university degree equivalent to BS/MS level in Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst with demonstrated expertise in business process reengineering, user requirement gathering, workshop facilitation, and change managementExpertise in data modeling, including the creation of ERWin diagramsPractical experience with data analytics and SQLProficiency in data warehousing and business intelligence practices (DWBI)Strong communication skills, including proficiency in verbal and written EnglishNice to have2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly within commercial IT functionsSkills in agile methodologies and team coordinationFamiliarity with Collibra
