The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in 3D steel detailing using SDS/2 or Tekla Structures, along with the ability to create detailed fabrication and erection drawings for commercial and industrial projects.Key Responsibilities:Develop and model structural steel components using Tekla Structures or SDS/2Prepare fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and gather sheetsCheck and validate models and drawings to ensure compliance with project standardsCreate RFIs (Requests for Information) and COs (Change Orders) as neededEstimate man-hours for project bidding and planningParticipate in resource planning, allocation, and technical coordination with clientsTroubleshoot and resolve modeling errors in SDS/2 or TeklaUtilize parametric modeling tools and advanced selection techniques to improve productivityMaintain and update digital project databasesEnsure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and project specificationsSkills Required:Proficient in SDS/2, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD (2006 & 2010)Familiarity with Windows OS (Windows 10), Bluebeam, MS Office, and PROCOREStrong technical knowledge in steel detailing and structural modelingGood understanding of both commercial and industrial project workflowsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and clientsWhy Join Us:Opportunity to work on challenging and large-scale structural projectsCollaborative and technically proficient work environmentClear growth path and skill development opportunitiesAbout BCAD Global:BCAD Global is an engineering company based out of India, catering to the construction industry primarily in the area of Structural steel detailing and Building information management for our Global clients.
