The Quality Engineer is responsible for Transition Quality, coordinating with Sending Site Quality team and deploying work instructions/procedures and associated process controls. Quality Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, implementing and coordinating scrap reduction and quality improvement projects. Will be responsible for FAI/PPAP. Implement new Quality System that meets internal, customer, and industry requirements. Apply quality engineering toolset to ensure manufacturing process capability, including use of FMEA, control plan, MSA, process validation techniques Identify organizational training needs and execute training on subjects relating to customer requirements Handling on Calibration & CMM. Implements measures to improve inspection methods, equipment/tool performance, product quality, efficiency and morale. GD&T, Gauging, SPC, APQP,PPAP, MSA,RCCA, inspection techniques ISO 9001, AS9100, NADCAP quality assurance systems Strong analytical, project management, organizational, and time management skills Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from production associates to the leadership team Bachelor degree in mechanical, industrial, or aerospace engineering 5+ years of experience in Quality function in an aerospace industry Demonstrated command of: Machining, assembly, testing operations.
