- Launch Excellence: Work cross-functionally to create compelling launch moments for ReadyAPI features and capabilities
- Positioning & Messaging: Define feature positioning and messaging that resonates with QA engineers, developers, and technical decision-makers
- Sales Enablement: Partner with sales and enablement teams to develop effective messaging, competitive battlecards, and tools for field teams
- Content Development: Create clear, technical marketing content that speaks to both practitioners and executive buyers, emphasizing ROI and business value
- Metrics & Impact: Define and track key business metrics that demonstrate ReadyAPI's impact on customer testing efficiency and quality outcomes
- Customer Storytelling: Build and deliver a pipeline of compelling customer success stories and use cases across different industries and company sizes
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work effectively across SmartBear with engineering, marketing, sales, enablement, and partner teams
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitive landscape and develop positioning strategies against key competitors in the API testing space
- 7+ years of professional marketing experience, preferably in B2B technology
- Understanding of software testing methodologies, API technologies, and development workflows with ability to communicate testing concepts to technical and business audiences
- Experience using data and analytics to measure and optimize marketing performance
- Proven track record of building and executing cross-functional marketing programs from concept to launch
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for various audiences
- Experience marketing developer tools, testing platforms, DevOps solutions, or API management services
- Background in software development, QA/testing, or related technical fields
- Experience with competitive positioning and competitive intelligence in technology markets
- Demonstrated ability to present to and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Track record of successful product launches in competitive enterprise software markets
- Technical aptitude with ability to understand and communicate complex software testing concepts
- Experience with customer advocacy programs, case study development, and ROI-focused messaging
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilities
- Experience working with enterprise sales teams and understanding enterprise buying processes
