We need team members with an appetite for change and pushing the boundaries of what can be done with automation. Experience in working across development, operations, and product teams to prioritize needs and to build relationships is a must.Mastercard looking for a BizOps SRE who would be responsible for supporting, deploying, configuring and maintaining Hadoop applications, jobs and BI reports.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Keeping a track of all the running Hadoop jobs and their impact to the cluster.
Troubleshoot and fix the failure of Hadoop ETL jobs
Work with Development team in case of critical incidents
Resolve the service ticket raised by the customer and maintain the good SLA
Good knowledge in debugging MapReduce/Spark/impala jobs and good understanding of Logs
Fix and troubleshoot reporting issues raised by the customers
Analyse SQL queries generated by the reports for erroneous results.
Work closely with service operation team for any incidents
Testing and evaluating the Hadoop systems, performing regular maintenance tasks
Understanding the problems of the client and handling all escalated cases promptly
Should know shell scripting and Good hands on experience in Linux/Unix environment.Skills:Excellent knowledge of UNIX/LINUX OS
Knowledge of cluster monitoring tools like Cloudera Manager
Good hold of shell scripting
Knowledge in Hive, Oozie, impala, Yarn, spark and other Hadoop eco systemsAll About You

Understanding of the best of the breed solutions on Artificial Intelligence and prior experience in supporting integrating commercial products and Analytics solutions to scale.
Understanding of the tools, methodologies and languages used to develop AI models and serve them across various business units.
Prior experience on Data Science/AI framework/platform for high through-put and resiliency.
Capable of understanding complex variables including Information and Data Governance, Data Management, Information Security, Privacy & Compliance to support high quality AI solutions in a matrix organization, solving hard problems while navigating through ecosystem tools technology being used.
Ability to quickly adapt on latest trends, tools and skills in the AI/Data Science/Machine Learning space to better server the platform.
