
Senior Software Engineer, Actimize (Python Fullstack)

- Working with architects, engineers, Product Managers, and third-party vendors to understand high level design, cross-interface impact, architectural and non-functional features addressing the customer requirements
- Develop high quality, proficient and enterprise grade products
- Work as part of the development team towards the application in a committed deadline
- Participate in the design and implementation. Pitch ideas & innovate continuously, take team & project to next level.
- Work and collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile spirit, methodology and tools.
- Ensuring that the automation framework uses best of breed technology including open-source tools
- Implement/Improve system monitoring, alerting & observability.
- Build & maintain highly available systems on AWS
- Creates the infrastructure through automation for hosting the services on AWS
- Review the code and guide the team to translate complex business requirements into technical artefacts
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/relevant course
- 4-6 years of experience working in software Industry as a software engineer (part of SW development team and not support team)
- Development experience using Python as a full stack developer.
- Experience with implementation of Data structure and algorithms
- In depth and hands-on experience working with AWS
- Experience working in and driving Continuous Integration and Delivery practices using industry standard tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes and Artifactory
- Must have created and deployed micro services on a cloud ecosystem from scratch
- Must have experience in creating UI/Frontend components either using Angular/React
- Good understanding of software development best practices from appropriate testing paradigms to effective peer code reviews and resilient architectures
- Experience in creating cloud native API and microservices on AWS preferably using API Gateway
- Must have experience in creating UI/front end components
- Knowledge and experience in high scale, highly available (99.99+) systems
- Experience working on a Scrum Team in an Agile delivery environment.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Problem-solving, troubleshooting and bug fixing skills.
- Candidate must have displayed proactiveness and ownership.
- Must have delivered the applications which are performant, resilient and efficient from cost and operations perspective
- Good understanding of Cloud Security & Cloud Costing
- Prior experience with SaaS, PaaS and IaC development is preferred.
