Responsibilities:Roles and Responsibilities
  • To perform the duties of aircraft rescue and fire fighting in shifts
  • Respond to fire/ incidents calls most expeditiously
  • Attend all drills and trainings
  • Be alert and ready to respond to incidents
  • Maintain fire station/MI room/ Appliances and firefighting facilitates in terminal building, cargo areas, fuel farms etc.
  • To drive & operate the fire appliances including Major vehicles
  • Fully familiar with airport topography & familiarize with rescue procedures of aircraft
  • Carrying out day -to-day activities of airport rescue and firefighting team in proving cat 9/10 level of protection
  • Undergo familiarization of various types of aircraft operating from the airport.
  • Undergo familiarizations of various buildings and installations of the airport.
  • Maintenance of all fixed and portable firefighting appliance
  • Response to emergency situations as directed
  • Monitoring & removal of fire hazards from airport buildings
  • Assist in enforcing airfield fire safety rules & regulations
Qualifications:Education Qualification
  • 10+2 with science, 10+2 years ITI/Diploma or equivalent with Valid HMV with Badge is desirable.
  • Passed in Basic Training course from ICAO recognized institution.
Relevant Experience
  • Experience in the field of firefighting is desirable.
  • Good physical standards as per Fire orders, ability to remain calm in emergency situations, ability to understand and work in noisy, hazardous, or stressful situations with or without use of equipment's, ability to courteously and tactfully communicate with officers, fellow workers.
  • Able to consistently demonstrate Fireman ship behaviors, ability communicate with RT phraseology, Fluency in English (oral and written). Qualified in HMV ADP and ability to drive Major Fire Appliances.
