Piping Design: Appointed as senior engineer- piping design on a project with the prime objective of managing assigned area or task entirely in liaison with project team and issuing deliverables and assisting in all other aspects of piping group functions based on project requirements. Pipe Stress Analysis: Appointed as senior engineer-pipe stress analysis on a project with the prime objective of carrying activities of Pipe Stress Analysis Discipline and providing technical support through all project phases on their appointed project/s. Piping Specification: Appointed as senior engineer- piping specifications with the prime objective of designing, developing and supporting piping specification activities to issue relevant documents on their appointed project. Piping Systems: Appointed as a senior engineer - piping systems with the prime objective of setting-up, maintaining CAD systems and providing support to various activities and functions of the Piping Systems Discipline for production of various deliverables of Piping and Plant Layout Group on their appointed project. Proactively carry out expected group and discipline duties associated with Para 7, 8 of the Functional Competencies as a minimum and support the respective Chief Engineer as applicableResponsibilities:1. Responsible for supporting the objectives of the Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality Policy and Information Security Management Policy by adhering to applicable Procedures and Work Practices while fulfilling of duties. 2. Carrying out respective piping activities and preparation of deliverables as identified in the Functional Competencies as necessary on their appointed project. 3. Signing drawings and documents including reports, calculations and datasheets as necessary as originator/checker in accordance with correct procedures. 4. Ensuring engineering and design quality, technical accuracy of drawings, material quantities etc. 5. Execution of assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures and client and projects standards. 6. Adhering to Wood engineering procedures for design safety and adopting safe attitudes towards engineering design and raising features affecting the safety and integrity of the project with appropriate authorities. 7. Correct interpretation and implementation of all piping related functions in their appointed area.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications and Experience The following are the minimum qualifications and level of experience required to perform the essential functions of the role. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience or equivalent 2. Gained engineering experience in the process plant / or power industry, working in a project environment for a contracting company. 3. Project experience of working in a variety of projects including grassroots, brownfield and revamp types. 4. Sound knowledge of pipe routings and development aspects and phases of plot plans including understanding of other piping design skills such as stress analysis, specifications etc. 5. Experienced in working with large teams. 6. Experienced in using intelligent CAD systems, analysis software, various design codes and standards as applicable for various types of projects.
