  • The success candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team specialized in Dry Type Distribution up to 10 MVA 33 kV Class design covering different countries.
  • Responsible to generate active part and windings/ Tank & Externals meeting factory limitation, guideline, and checklist as per IEEE / IEC /IS standards.
  • Responsible for Preparation of Customer documents, Manufacturing drawings, Bill of materials etc & submission to customer as per project schedule.
  • Understanding of Transformer mechanical design, Thermal, Dielectrics, Short circuit and sound performance and transformer mechanics
  • Coordinating design activities within a worldwide factories network.
  • Participation in internal design concept reviews.
  • Demonstrated team building skills and networking skills, would be a preference.
  • Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.

Your background * B.E / B. Tech Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3–8-year Experienced working in Mechanical design for Distribution oil filled, Dry transformer manufacturing Industry. Candidates with higher experience also to be considered.
  • Knowledge on CAD software, any 3D Modelling software is a must. Creo is considered as an advantage.
  • Should understand Transformer Design, Mechanical Calculations, Dielectrics, clearance/creepage, basic layout and cleats lead arrangement.
  • Should have good understanding of IS/ IEC /IEEE Standards & Canadian Standards
  • Experience in winding design / Tank & externals is an advantage
  • Experience in Simulation or software development would be advantageous.
  • Experience on Microsoft office and tools.
  • Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.
  • Demonstrated team building skills, would be a preference.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
