This roleis responsible fordesigning, developing, andmaintainingautomated test scripts, coordinating end-to-end test support, and ensuring all testing processes meet quality standards and project timelines. The incumbent works closely with project managers, developers, quality engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions and continuous improvement in testing methodologies.At CIBC India we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Lead the investigation and translation of business and technical requirements into test cases.
Design and manage end-to-end testing activities for multiple projects.
Develop andmaintaincomprehensive test plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
Develop andmaintainautomated test cases and test suites using automation tools.
Execute manual and automated test cases, document results, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
Prepare and present status reports, test metrics, and risk assessments to project leadership.
Ensure all testing activitiescomply withorganizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Automation Expertise

Create and execute automation strategies, tools, and frameworks.
Build automated testing scripts and integrate them with DevOps tools.

Leadership Skills

Coach and mentor testing team members in business domain, functional testing, automation, and non-functional testing.
Ensure test teams are compliant with CIBCs test methodologies and industry best practices.
Identifyopportunities to enhance testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
Proactivelyidentifyand address issues throughout all test phases.

Project Coordination

Coordinate efforts of internal and external testing teams to ensuretimelycompletion of test phases.
Identifyand communicate obstacles or risksimpactingproject timelines or success.
Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and escalateissuesas necessary.
Ensure all test deliverables are received, approved, and aligned to project timelines, budgets, and goals.

Experience:3+ years of experienceWho You Are (skills/qualifications):Must Have Skills:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum3+ years of experience in a Test Coordination role, with proficient knowledge of Testing Life Cycle, SDLC, and Defect Management.
Should know Databricks as an application for cloud ETL testing.
Minimum3+ years of experience in automation or equivalent technical role.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Tosca DI,Selenium, Robot framework,ParasoftSOAtest, Postman,RestAssured, Cucumber, or similar).
Preferred experience with Python, Java, and SQL databases.
Experience with test management tools (JIRA,OpenTextAQM).
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to coach and mentor team members, and influence outcomes throughexpertise.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry developments.
