- Drive the Cloud FinOps strategy for Circles, and manage the end-to-end practice (visibility, optimize, ownership pillars)
- Maintain and provide the source of truth for all cloud billing data including actual spend, chargeback amounts, and savings from costing optimization initiatives.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities, and continuously find ways to improve efficiencies in terms of cost and time-savings.
- Drive ownership and accountability for cloud cost across the organization, in view of building a sustainable cost conscious culture.
- Familiarity with cloud solutions like AWS, AZURE, GCP, OCI and possess an understanding of cloud costs and billing. Candidates with equivalent experience are welcome to apply.
- Build regular cost reports for different FinOps personas (Leadership, Engineering, Finance, Product) with cloud native tools (e.g. Cost Explorer).
- Implement chargeback models to accurately allocate direct and shared cost to a variety of business units, and provide an unit economic lens to illustrate efficiency trends.
- Support budget planning cycles and weekly forecasting using trend-based and driver-based forecasts through close collaboration with different FinOps personas.
- Manage commitment plans (RIs, SPs, CUDs) across cloud providers, and ability to present risk, breakeven points, and potential savings for leadership's approval.
- Govern enterprise contracts with cloud providers, through end-to-end support from negotiation, assessment, internal approvals, and operationalization.
- Drive cloud cost Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) with leadership in a structured format, and design shared KPIs to align stakeholders in view of business priorities.
- Create enablement and incentivization programs for different personas to drive awareness and develop a sustainable cost conscious culture.
