What you'll do The Network Engineer Specialist focuses upon planning, designing and optimising the network and driving effectiveness and efficiency through harmonisation and standardisation.The Network Engineer Specialist has a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in delivery of Network Engineering activities in response to business needs and in alignment with the Vodafone Strategy.Typically reports to the Network Engineering Manager. Who you are . Advices and executes administrative activities of Network transformation decisions related to the planning, deployment and optimization of Networks and service enablers . Supports the team to deliver activities related, but not limited to the development and assessment of Network systems / services and optimisation in line with the principles, standards and designs . Delivers assigned tasks for projects, within the roadmap, taking into account the directional guidance of the strategic (1 -3 year) plan, managing risks, escalations and exceptions, and complex interfaces . Maintains solid relations and works closely with suppliers, Technology vendors and internal functions . Demonstrates a good understanding of elements across the Network landscape, and supports with projects form a Network perspective that improve network integration effectiveness . Effectively interacts with colleagues across the Network landscape, instigating and leading projects form a Network perspective that improve Network integration effectiveness . Has a good understanding of the needs to support the design, planning, deployment and optimization challenges across the Network Development and Engineering area . Performs other job-related duties or tasks defined by the supervisor or resulting from assigned agendas.
