- We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Marketing & Sales Executive for our shipping and freight forwarding business. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business, building strong client relationships, promoting our logistics solutions, and achieving monthly sales targets in sea freight, air freight, customs clearance, and transportation services. Typical responsibilities in freight-forward sales include new business development, client relationship management, quotations, and market intelligence.
- Identify and develop new customers in export, import, CHA, freight forwarding, and logistics sectors
- Generate sales leads through client visits, cold calling, references, and market networking
- Prepare and send freight quotations and proposals
- Negotiate rates with clients and close business deals
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and shipping partners
- Coordinate with the operations team for smooth shipment handling
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of shipping, logistics, import-export, and freight forwarding
- Good client handling and presentation skills
- Ability to work on sales targets
- Strong market networking ability
- MS Excel, Word, and Email drafting
- Good understanding of Incoterms, shipping documentation, and freight rates
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing/business administration, / Logistics
- MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred
- 1–3 years’ experience in shipping/freight forwarding sales
