Job Description:Job DescriptionRole: Jr SQL Server DBALocation: BangaloreWho are we looking for?Strong SQL Server system DBA with more than 4 years of the relevant experience.Technical Skills:

SQL Server DBA
SQL Server 2005/2008/2012/2014 database design, development, performance tuning, implementation, and support of the applications from a database perspective
Strong in SQL DB installation, configuration, backup, monitoring.
Well versed with SQL Server database mirroring, Clustering and Log shipping and ensure minimum downtime of SQL databases
Should have worked on SQL advanced areas like Always on, Mirroring, Clustering.
Working experience in managing SQL databases on Azure (IaaS and Paas) desired.
Monitor SQL Server jobs daily and resolve failures
Monitor SQL Errors and Disk spaces
Working knowledge on SQL Server 2014 is plus
Working knowledge monitoring tool is needed. System Center (SYSCOM or SCOM 2012) is added plus.

Process Skills:

Working knowledge monitoring tool is needed. System Center (SYSCOM or SCOM 2012) is added plus.
Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management is needed. Working Knowledge on Service Now is added Plus.
Knowledge on Different Backup methods and backup tools is needed.

Behavioral Skills:

Candidate needs to be Excellant in Communication.
Candidate needs to be Good Team Player.
Should be ready to work in rotating shifts including night shifts.
Should be ready to have rotating weekly off.

Qualification:

Bachelor of Engineering
Microsoft certified SQL Server DBA (Preferred)
