Role Overview:As the Manager - Admissions at IIC Lakshya, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end admissions process and leading the branch-level admissions team. This role requires strong people management skills, a student-first mindset, and the ability to confidently interact with both parents and students during their decision-making journey. You will also oversee the performance of your team, ensure admission targets are met, and maintain high standards of service and professionalism.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the admissions team to achieve student enrollment targets for the branch.- Interact directly with walk-in and referred parents/students to understand their needs, provide program guidance, and convert leads into admissions.- Monitor and manage the lead funnel via CRM, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate status updates.- Build trust and rapport with prospective families by conducting personalized counselling sessions and addressing their queries and concerns.- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure a healthy lead pipeline and provide ground-level feedback on campaign outcomes.- Handle high-value or complex admission inquiries directly to ensure closure and satisfaction.- Track team performance through daily/weekly dashboards and conduct regular reviews and mentoring.- Ensure proper documentation, fee follow-ups, and adherence to admission protocols.- Maintain a deep understanding of IIC Lakshya's academic programs, differentiators, and admission processes to confidently represent the brand.- Coordinate with academic and operations teams to ensure a smooth post-admission onboarding process.- Participate in parent meetings, orientation programs, and local events as required.Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant discipline.- Minimum 5 years of experience in admissions, counseling, or education sales, with at least 2 years in a team management role.- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently engage and influence parents and students.- Experience in walk-in and B2C counseling in an education-focused environment.- Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and reporting systems.- Results-driven, well-organized, and able to lead by example in a fast-paced, target-driven setup.- Fluent in English and Malayalam (mandatory).- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends during peak admission seasons.
