- Good Knowledge of Product Design, of Interior Components of IP & Console, Pillar Trim, Headliner, Carpet, Trunk trim, Door trim. Also, good knowledge of Materials, Manufacturing Process & Tooling Concepts of IPC.
- Should have knowledge of Interior Regulations & Packaging Requirements.
- Should be able to establish teamwork plan & define priority of work.
- Must have experience in Quality Control tools like GD&T DVA, DVP, DFMEA, PPIR.
- Develop System Design Specifications incorporating engineering standards, test procedures and material specifications.
- Experience in Supplier management like APQP documents, Cost & timing Reviews will be preferred.
- Lead the resolution of design, attribute, or packaging incompatibilities through the appropriate cross-functional meetings.
- Support vehicles launch and pre-production builds (both virtual and physical)
- Need to support on Prototype part Delivery to confirm Assembly Function or Commodity Validation.
- Hands of Experience on Catia V5/V6 & Team Centre.
- Knowledge of Problem-solving Techniques, Root cause analysis will be preferred.
- Experience in OEM to lead commodity will be an added advantage.
- Ensures the delivery of exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrates and fosters a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals.
- Identifies and analyses information to make decisions and solve problems.
- Proven project management cap ability demonstrated by recent delivery in line with time, Cost, quality & attribute targets
- Proven experience in development and/ or integration of at least one and preferably more on IP & console, Pillar Trim, Headliner, Carpet, Trunk trim, Door trim
- Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements,
- Liaise with supplier, Manufacturing, CAE& Validation Teams.
- CAD Literacy: Ability to generate CAD data and Master sections in CATIA V5/V6 .
- Significant experience in use of engineering tools FMEA, Six Sigma, problem resolution etc.
- Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector.
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, adapting style to suit different audiences, demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels.
- Demonstrates and fosters a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals.
- In-depth functional knowledge of Ip & Console system.
- CAD Literacy: Ability to generate CAD data and Master sections in CATIA V5/V6
- PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc
- Analytical, logical, and critical thinking ability.
- BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/Production/ Automotive Engineering
