- Lead an Engineering and Designer department for our Compressor Package scope of work of customer orders
- This unique position will collaborate with the Head of Engineering Projects Europe, providing direct access to global leaders in Engineering, Sales & Proposals, and Product Lines.
- Plan, budget, and assign department resources according to Management priorities
- Responsible for detail engineering design of turbo compressors packages (Package Integration & Layout) ensuring compliance to customer contract and requirements, international and internal standards.
- Work and coordinate Compressor Package Detail Engineering across multiple engineering platforms and locations and deliver requested project documentation.
- Definition or support and independent implementation of improvement measures to increase engineering quality and effectiveness or hardware cost savings.
- Support measures that yield year-on-year Engineering cost-productivity benefits in both Proposal and Project Execution phases.
- Work and coordinate Compressor Package related detail Engineering across multiple engineering platforms and locations and deliver documentation for a project.
- Empower, assess competencies and talents, train, and progress the careers of our Package Designers and Engineers.
- Bachelors of Science Degree in an Engineering field, Master of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) or related field.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Turbo Machinery Engineering processes, business software, and technology for Package Engineering and Design
- 10+ years of experience in Rotating Equipment for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and other Process Industry applications, achieved through working on Industrial Applications Products in Package or Systems Engineering.
- 5+ years of team management experience, either by managing a direct-reporting functional department, or leading project-based engineering teams
- Peer-recognized for solving complex problems, developing new and improving business processes, demonstrating high professional judgement in ambiguous circumstances, and coordinating technical work from across a global-matrixed organization.
- Outstanding knowledge of mechanical design, plant and piping design. Knowledge of ASME, API and relevant internal and international standards.
- Cost out and development experience for Package Design, including related Engineering cost
