In your new role you will:
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to the full stack development team, ensuring that the team is equipped to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java and React, ensuring alignment with our technology stack and architecture.
- Expertise with databases, such as Oracle, SQL Server or No SQL database.
- Project Planning:
- Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to plan and prioritize projects, define project scope, and establish timelines and milestones.
- Architecture and Design:
- Design and implement scalable and efficient software architectures, ensuring that solutions meet business requirements and are aligned with industry best practices.
- Coding and Development:
- Write high-quality, maintainable code, and participate in code reviews to ensure that team members are following best practices.
- Team Management:
- Manage a team of full stack developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback to ensure that team members are growing professionally and technically.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to ensure that software solutions meet business requirements and are delivered on time.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that software solutions meet quality and testing standards, and collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Communication:
- Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and executives.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in full stack development.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Spring, or Python.
- Experience with front-end frameworks, such as React .
- Experience with back-end frameworks, such as Node.js
- Expertise with databases, such as Oracle, SQL Server or NoSQL database.
- Experience leading a team of developers, including providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback.
- Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
