Experience Required: 3–6 YearsJob Summary:We are looking for a skilled Service Engineer with strong expertise in PLC programming and machine servicing. The candidate will be responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial machines, along with PLC diagnostics and program modifications to ensure optimal machine performance at customer sites.Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, commissioning, and startup of industrial machinery at customer locations
- PLC programming, troubleshooting, and modification (Siemens / Allen Bradley / Mitsubishi or equivalent)
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and automation-related issues
- Handle machine breakdowns and ensure minimum downtime
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, PLC logic, and mechanical drawings
- Coordinate with design and production teams for technical issue resolution
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers
- Train operators and maintenance teams on machine operation and PLC basics
- Prepare detailed service reports and maintain documentation
- Support retrofitting and machine upgrades
- Strong hands-on experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting (mandatory)
- Knowledge of HMI/SCADA systems
- Good understanding of sensors, drives, motors, and industrial automation systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently at customer sites
- Good communication and customer-handling skills
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in machine manufacturing or industrial automation industry
- Exposure to servo systems, VFDs, and motion control
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.)
- Willingness to travel on short notice for breakdown support
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Valid driving license preferred
