Senior Manager Structural Design

• Interact with the Design Consultants and provide them with the project brief/ design concept of the project and provide necessary inputs to enable them to understand the design needs of the project.
• Validate design brief/detailed drawings from the design consultants in consultation with Project Managers
• Validate BOM prepared by design consultants for area of specialization (structural)
• Lead the technical evaluation of Design consultants and provide inputs to finalize the selection of Design Consultants.
• Ensure timely provision of technical support to site teams for all area of specialization (structural)related services.
• Review and validate preliminary drawings, tender drawings and GFC drawings provided by Design Consultants and conduct value engineering initiatives in designs to generate cost savings.
• Drive adherence to the timelines of Design Consultants and resolve any queries with regard to the design delivery timelines and design quality standards.
• Provide inputs to the Contracts Department in the tendering process, design and finalization of contracts.
• Validate work orders and ensure execution as per the GFC drawings.
• Ensure periodic site visits to monitor the quality of work executed by contractors and initiate corrective action wherever necessary.
• Ensure that contractors queries are resolved effectively.
• Provide timely support to the Liaison Department for any drawings required for statutory approvals.
• Co-ordinate and manage any escalation related design and execution.
• Co-ordinate to get the design for high rise building vetted by third party.
• Drive the implementation of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) for all activities including defining TATs (Turn Around Time) for all activities to ensure consistency and standardization of activities.
• Lead value engineering initiatives/optimization of overall space or cost to drive cost savings at a design level.
• Drive adherence to the Project budget and monitor budget overruns
• Handling team and undertaking performance management for Departmental

• BE/B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with Masters in Structural Engineering.
• 8 to 14 years' experience in high-rise residential and commercial projects
