ASST. MANAGER MECHANICAL FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - GUJARAT

• Maintenance & Operations: Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance (PMS) of heavy machinery like furnaces, casters, and rolling mills to ensure smooth operation.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor technicians, shift engineers, and contractors to ensure productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
• Shutdown Management: Plan and execute annual shutdowns and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
• Resource Management: Manage spare parts inventory, monitor consumables, and coordinate procurement.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Analyze performance issues, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines, creating a zero-accident environment.

• Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 5-12 years in mechanical maintenance within a steel plant (Sponge Iron, SMS, Rolling Mill) or Captive Power Plant (CPP).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment, gearboxes, welding, and CAD software.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
