If no overview is available, please remove this section and Talent Acquisition will add a general description for the GBU.Job Summary:In this role, you will liaise between engineering and field operations and provide guidance on executing constructability plans. You will lead construction design decisions, interdisciplinary reviews, and project staffing. You will monitor construction performance and review deliverables. You will use your expertise to improve Bechtel's existing methods by initiating project assessments and implementing improvements.Major Responsibilities:

The CSA Workface Planner is responsible for developing IWP's in addition to being accountable for developing the detailed IWP release plan (90-Day schedule) with the Responsible superintendent, Responsible Field Engineer.
The Workface Planner will review general installation priorities and check to assure the work accomplished meets the project requirements.
Reviews work scope, checking sequences, access, resources, equipment needs, pre-work, materials, and support services.
The Workface Planner prepares the scope of the IWP in coordination with Lead Civil-structural Workface Planner, Civil-structural field engineer and Superintendent to gain approval for the IWP.
Workface Planner will perform random checking of IWPs assembled by other Workface planners.
Understand work packaging philosophy, scope of installation, Work Breakdown Structure and scoping of installation work packages.
Monitor project schedule and ensure performance and timely delivery of IWPs; coordinate with Project Controls team, planners, other stakeholder of the project and ensure civil-structural IWPs are issued as per the project prioritiesMonitor quality of IWPs ensuring scoping and preparation of IWPs is done right the first timeAttend progress meetings, maintain effective interface with site management team, client's organization ensuring IWPs, and advance work packaging efforts are effectively delivered on the project.
Develops detailed Civil-structural Installation Work Package (IWPs) as per the project guidelines and procedures, which includes, compiling installation drawings, installation details, model snapshots, vendor drawings, inspection test records, or any other documents or Engineering deliverables associated with the Civil-structural IWPs.
Supports development of various other construction engineering deliverables like material take-off of concrete, rebar, embed, formwork etc. and upload material take-off quantities and other attributes of Work Packages into the TEAMWorks database or project specific database.
Facilitates the identification and removal of constraintsPreparation of IWP constrains list and assist in resolution and closure of constraints or engineering issues.

Education and Experience Requirements:Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experienceRequired Knowledge and Skills:

Working experience at the jobsites as a Field Engineer, Construction Engineer on large industrial projects is essential.
Shall have an experience of preparation of Installation work packages for concrete & steel structure.
Proficient in reading drawings, interpret design, specifications and industry standards and codes.
Excellent communications skills.
Proficient MS Office applications.
Experience of international field assignments is highly preferred.
Experience on LNG / Petrochemical projects is highly preferred.
Person with only scheduling experience should not apply.
