We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Finance Professional to join our Travel company. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial regulations, and the ability to manage all accounting operations of the company. This role will involve financial Planning, budgeting, reporting auditing, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards.
  • Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions and strategic planning.
  • Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, including liaising with external auditors.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as management reports and forecasts.
  • Monitor cash flow, manage financial risk, and ensure effective treasury management.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, and assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filings, including GST, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
  • Assist with financial planning and analysis for business growth and expansion.
  • Stay updated on financial trends, regulations, and best practices, and recommend changes to policies or procedures as needed.
  • Mentor and guide junior finance team members
Qualifications:
  • M. COM / MBA in Finance Mandatory
  • Certification of Chartered Accountant preferred
Experience:
  • Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Corporate experience is mandatory
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
