- Administered and supported large-scale SQL Server environments (2014–2022) across PROD and Non-PROD
- Planned and executed migrations to Azure SQL DB or SQL Managed Instance, including version upgrades
- Troubleshot performance issues (blocking, deadlocks, slow queries) using DMVs, Query Store, and execution plans
- Implemented and maintained HA or DR solutions: Always-On AGs, Log Shipping, and Clustering
- Automated database maintenance, monitoring, and reporting using PowerShell, Python, SSIS, T-SQL, and AI-driven scripts
- Leveraged AI/ML models to predict performance bottlenecks, analyze query workloads, and optimize resource utilization
- Led a team of DBA’s by providing mentorship, training , task delegation and performance reviews
- Managed on-call escalations, performed root cause analysis, and collaborated with cross-functional teams
- Led patching, change management, and supported production releases following ITIL practices
- Guided and assisted Tier 1 DBAs with ticket resolution, SOPs, and escalation procedures
- Provisioned Azure database infrastructure using Terraform and participated in CI/CD automation
- Ensured security compliance by managing logins, roles, auditing, and access reviews

- 9+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2014–2022)
- Practical experience with Azure SQL DB, SQL Managed Instance, and cloud migration strategies
- Experience in managing 24x7 support, Tier 1 collaboration, and RCA documentation
- Solid expertise in T-SQL, performance tuning, backup or restore, and HA/DR configurations
- Working knowledge of Terraform or ARM templates for infrastructure provisioning
- Familiar with AI-based monitoring tools, anomaly detection, and self-healing database scripts
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident, change, and problem management
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting, AI/ML automation, and data-driven performance analysis
- Proven solid communication and stakeholder coordination skills
