Maintenance Incharge

• Maintenance Planning & Execution:
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for mechanical, electrical, and utility equipment (e.g., furnaces, rolling mills, cranes, conveyors, pumps, etc.).
• Manage day-to-day breakdown maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Coordinate with the production team to plan maintenance activities with minimal impact on operations.
• Team Management:
• Lead a team of maintenance engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
• Allocate daily jobs, monitor progress, and ensure safety compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members.
• Equipment & Asset Management:
• Maintain records of equipment history, downtime, and repair logs.
• Ensure availability of critical spares and consumables.
• Coordinate with vendors for outsourced maintenance and AMC services.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and statutory regulations.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures or major breakdowns.
• Implement safety systems like LOTO, fire prevention, and machine guarding.
• Cost & Energy Optimization:
• Monitor maintenance budgets and control costs.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce maintenance-related costs.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Participate in Kaizen, TPM, 5S, and lean maintenance initiatives.
• Introduce new technologies or automation for better plant performance.
