THE ROLECandidates must have experience in core banking development/maintenance with the ability to test on demand. Troubleshoot / Debug problems to understand the root cause of issues and fix. Work effectively with the team to deliver squad level objectives, ensuring all KPIs are met. Work closely with the squad lead and support all members of the squad in achieving the common squad goal.
OPPORTUNITIES
- Participate in Scrum calls, Scrum Retrospection (e.g., development, testing, automation, workarounds, or changes in processes). Ensure all deliverables are developed properly with expected quality.
- Analyze client defects, liaise with project or other product team(s) to replicate the issue, troubleshoot / debug the problem, and identify the root cause to get it fixed as part of product maintenance lifecycle.
- Analyze client business requirements, liaise with client(s)/project team(s) or other product team(s) and produce necessary documentation for addressing the requirements. Be involved actively across all stages of SDLC.
- Act in an engineering model with passion for both coding and test automations.
- Lead and give guidance to help key stakeholders understand the impacts of changes through extensive and coordinated discovery analysis.
- Derive and define high level test Plans, map out appropriate epics and user stories to support delivery whilst applying a customer focused approach to the process.
- Follow the software development lifecycle from inception through design, engineering, testing and deployment.
- Manage prioritizations proactively, providing the best go to market solution in a timely fashion.
- Identify new opportunities to acquire, retain or grow the business based on trends found through market analysis and strong awareness of new features and capabilities within the field..
- You should have 4-8 years of experience in Core Banking development/maintenance/implementation
- You should have Java programming, SQL or other relational databases
- You should have Webservices, Rest APIs
- You should have Security principles, authentication & authorization
- You should have Hands on experience in Atlassian SDLC suite
- You should have Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, cloud and microservices will be an added advantage
- You should have One-Engineer with passion for both coding and testing
- You should have Excellent written and communication skills
- You should have Ability to work independently, with others and external parties
- You should have Ability to present confidently at a senior level
- You should have Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
- You should have Strong documentation and analysis skills are essential
- You should have Strong practical, working knowledge of Agile SDLC is essential
