Senior Engineer Python Automation

• automation test tool development and infrastructure development
• Generating and/or reviewing test requirements. Translating high level requirements into specific test requirements
• Performing analysis of test automation effectiveness
• Participating in test case design and documentation
• Working with a range of software products from low-level PLC software to higher-level C# desktop tools and web tools
• Building and maintaining a comprehensive suite of test cases for targeted testing and/or regression testing
• Identifying methods to automate software testing
• Carrying out manual software testing where necessary
• Working closely with software developers to understand features and confirm correct operation
• Analysing and measuring the effectiveness and utility of the tests and generating test reports
• Participating as a member of a Scrum team
• Learning and applying new tools, technologies, and industry best practices

• Demonstratable experience performing advanced automation tasks, white box testing and creating orchestration platforms
• Formal software testing experience in both manual and automated testing, with various testing types
• Well versed in development, familiar with the complete system and actively involved in each phase of development process
• Familiarity with Scrum Agile software development
• Familiarity with version control and release management
• Strong understanding of software design and development understanding
• Experience with professional higher level programming language, Python or similar
• Experience with scripting languages applied to automated testing
• A passion for excellence and the drive to complete tasks within the required time frame
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
• Need hands on experience in requirement analysis, design and Execution of automation scripts using Java and Selenium - WebDriver technologies.
• Experience in Automation Framework Designing from scratch, Executing and Maintaining automated test scripts.
• experience in developing scripts in WedDriver with TestNG.
• Experience in developing scripts using POM(Page Object Model).
• Experience in various frameworks like Data Driven , Keyword Driven and Hybrid.
• Experience in TDD(POM) and BDD framework( Cucumber).
• Experience in hybrid framework with combination of BDD and TESTNG with all necessary utilities.
• Ability to learn new language/tool quickly and provide POC for any application.
• Good experience in understanding business requirements and convert them into Test scripts.
• Thorough hands on experience with all levels of testing including Shakedown, Regression and Sanity.
• Worked in Agile Methodology also.
• Hands on Experience in HP Application Life Cycle Management and Jira for Test Execution and defect management
• Ability to understand the requirements and functionality of the applications.
• Able to interact effectively with other members
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong ethics.
• Experience in experience on Guidewire Policy Center 8.0 application testing.
