- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the maintenance team.
- Maintenance Operations:
- Oversee maintenance routines for 3, 4, and 5-axis VMC machines, HMC Machines and CNC turning centers, focusing on medium and large-sized equipment.
- Experience of handling medium and large size utility. (i.e. Power station, DG, ETP, STP etc.)
- Implement and manage robust preventive maintenance strategies to minimize unplanned downtime and maximize operational readiness.
- Perform hands-on electrical, CNC control system and mechanical maintenance tasks as needed to ensure quick and efficient resolutions to equipment failures.
- Infrastructure Management:
- Coordinate infrastructure upkeep, addressing facility needs that support safe and efficient production environments.
- Having brown field expansion experience will be preferred.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all maintenance activities
- Continuous Improvement:
- Drive improvement initiatives that optimize equipment life cycle, reduce costs, and support long-term operational performance.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to align maintenance plans with manufacturing goals and technical requirements
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, OEE, MTTR & MTBF and downtime incidents.
- Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance performance and improvement initiatives to senior management.
- Graduate in Electronics / Electrical Engineering with min 15 years of experience in automotive / aerospace precision machining industry.
- Proven experience managing CNC machinery, particularly medium to large-sized equipment used in precision manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and critical thinking skills with a proactive, hands-on approach to solving mechanical and electrical issues.
- Expertise in preventive maintenance, ensuring optimal machine performance, reduced downtime, and long-term asset reliability.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a results-oriented mindset and a commitment to excellence.
- Experience in the aerospace industry or a similar high-precision manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of industry-specific safety standards and regulations.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools.
