Hardware Architect

• 15+ years of experience as a hardware engineer.

• Aerospace, Defense and Consumer products experience- have completed at least two

• Experienced in designs with processors, microcontrollers, FPGAs and DDR and Flash memory interfaces

• Experienced in SPI, I2C, I2S, PCIe, SRIO, GbE, CAN interface I/O protocols

• Experienced in display interfaces

• Experienced in using GNSS/GPS receivers, Codecs, different sensors

• Must have worked with other functions like Software, System Engineering, Product Design, Reliability and Materials.

• Have knowledge in thermal analysis, MTBF calculations and de-rating analysis.

• Experience with Schematic capture with tool sets such as OrCAD. Altium

• Must have experience with Hardware lab equipment such as digital scope, logic analyzer

• Thorough knowledge in simulation tools like TINA. LTSpice

• Experience with DFx (Design for cost, test, and manufacturing).

• Basic knowledge in Wireless consumer electronic devices.

• Experience in DC-DC converters, LDOs required for HW design

• Knowledge in analog circuit design and mixed signal designs (Op-Amps, ADC/DAC etc.)

• Basic knowledge in RF design

• Knowledge in SI/PI and design of EMI/EMC

• Experience with Revision and Document control

• Knowledge in High level programming language with 'C' will be a plus

• Excellent communication skills

• Design world-class hardware, and, integrate with software/firmware and mechanical housings

• Broad cross-functional engineering influence

• Complete technical ownership for the HW development.

• Architecture designs and reviews.

• Support all aspects of technology readiness including manufacturability.

• Help build robust methodology and processes to deliver technology to products.

• Actively support RFP and RFI proposals"
