The Komax group has more than 50 companies with 3500 employees across five continents and a worldwide sales and service network.Software Development HeadFor our location in Pune, India we are looking for an experienced personality as a Software Development HeadYou will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of the Smart Factory Solutions and DiIT software implementations Smart Factory Solutions by Komax enable automation and digital integration in wire processing and harness manufacturing. They connect machines and systems to provide real-time data, improve production efficiency, and support predictive maintenance. These solutions follow Industry 4.0 principles, offering scalability and centralized control. With features like traceability and MES integration, Komax helps manufacturers streamline operations and reduce downtime. DiIT, a Komax company, specializes in software solutions for wire harness manufacturing and production control. DiIT's MES (Manufacturing Execution System) platforms enable real-time monitoring, traceability, and process optimization across complex production environments. As part of the Komax Group, DiIT plays a key role in advancing Smart Factory initiatives by integrating digital workflows with automated machinery. DiIT's solutions are widely used in the automotive and industrial sectors to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance.Your remit

Building the agile Smart Factory Solutions software development team in CoDE, starting with 10-16 people
Overall responsibility of the software deliverables for Smart Factory Solutions, ensuring delivery on time, on budget and on quality
Managing and developing the team and skills
Take ownership of the software development in CoDE
Definition and implementation of measures to achieve the given goals
Close collaboration with the German / Swiss delivery organization
Report to the DiIT Head of Software Development
Implementation of the Smart Factory Solutions strategy

Your profile

Graduation/PG in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar stream
At least 10 years of experience in the field of software development, preferably in a management position
Proven skills of cross-divisional collaboration with direct and indirect management
Proven skills of creating new software products and bringing them to market
High level of experience in project management
Very good skills in stakeholder management
Excellent English communication (written and spoken)
Knowledge in Chinese is a plus
Readiness to travel nationally and internationally (

Growth mindset
Experience with microservice architectures and cloud technologies
Frequent travel to Switzerland could be needed to collaborate seamlessly with the team there

Technical Skills Good To Have (Nothing is Mandatory but more the merrier)

o ASP.NET for Web-APIs
o Akka.NET for Actor-based systems

Frontend & Web:

o Angular for modern web applications
o Blazor for .NET based Web-UIs
o Blazor for .NET-based Web-UIs

Data bases and storage

o Entity Framework for MSSQL and MySQL
o MongoDB for document based data structures
o ElasticSearch for search and analysis functions

Infrastructure & Monitoring:

o Docker for containerization
