- Build and develop strong relationships with suppliers to support and build long term strategies to support Enfinity’s wind portfolio.
- Develop total cost of ownership approach to evaluate supply opportunities to maximize project returns including managing performance, quality, and cost to support a long term asset management of wind assets
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities including RFQ issuance, techno-commercial evaluations, negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Manage vendor relationships, performance assessments, and drive continuous improvements in cost, quality, and delivery.
- Manage LTSA contracts with OEM suppliers and build any additional sourcing strategies to maintain the long term operations and ensure the asset meet revenue targets.
- Lead and negotiate supply, EPC and O&M contracts in close collaboration with legal, technical teams, and other departments to support the wind projects.
- Ensure contracts mitigate risks and support commercial advantages aligned with revenue and EBITDA goals.
- Develop global cost curves for wind and provide budget inputs for new wind project opportunities.
- Identify key cost drivers and optimize commercial terms to enhance project profitability.
- Ensure procurement processes comply with corporate governance and renewable energy regulations (SECI, CEA, MNRE).
- Stay informed on legal and regulatory changes impacting procurement, project execution, and long-term ownership.
- ·Collaborate with internal teams including Engineering, Legal, Business Development, Project Execution, and senior leadership to ensure cohesive procurement decisions.
- International experience in wind across multiple regions. In-depth knowledge of wind energy procurement and techno-commercial evaluations and long term asset management
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in high-value contract negotiation in wind including supply, EPC, and O&M contracts
- Familiarity with Indian Electricity Act, Indian Contract Act, Arbitration Act, and mediation mechanisms.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage senior stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic decision-making capabilities.
- Proficient in English
- 12–15 years of progressive experience in procurement, contracts, and commercial management, with significant exposure to wind energy projects.
- Demonstrated success in managing large, complex procurement contracts in renewable energy or power sectors.
- Hands-on experience with legal and regulatory aspects of procurement and project execution.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, vendors, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- High integrity, strategic mindset, and a solution-oriented approach.
- Significant project management experience and the ability to navigate globally and in a business unit.
